The ITIL 4 designation for the seat at the executive table — not the seat at the SOC desk.
Where ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) is built for the operations leader running CDS, DSV, and HVIT, the Strategic Leader designation is built for the IT executive translating digital strategy into service-organization execution. SL requires two modules: DPI (the same strategy/governance/improvement module that anchors MP) and DITS (Digital and IT Strategy — SL's defining course). This five-day bootcamp goes deep on both, with the cross-module integration that makes SL useful to the senior leader rather than just exam-passable.
Day 1 covers DPI Direct + Plan. Day 2 finishes DPI with Improve + a timed mock. Days 3–4 go deep on DITS — digital strategy, disruption response, business models, leading the digital organization, strategic portfolio management. Day 5 integrates DPI ↔ DITS, runs both module mocks, and closes with a 60-day pathway plan to sit both exams.

- Decision-making across portfolios, scenario planning, capacity for change
- Practice Lab: DPI direction + plan scenario items
Day 2 — DPI Improve + Exam
- DPI Improve: continual improvement at strategic altitude
- Organizational change management for senior leaders
- Measurement and reporting frameworks for strategy execution
- DPI exam structure (open-book per AXELOS); timed practice exam
- Item-by-item debrief; weak-topic identification; 30-day DPI study plan
Day 3 — DITS Part 1: Digital Strategy and Positioning
- What digital strategy actually is — and what most digital strategy docs miss
- Digital disruption: causes, patterns, leader response options
- Aligning digital strategy with organizational vision
- Digital business models and value streams; competitive positioning frameworks
- Practice Lab: DITS strategy + positioning scenario items
Day 4 — DITS Part 2: Leading the Digital Organization
- Capability building, digital talent strategy, technology talent in 2026
- Leadership behaviors for the digital age — adaptive, evidence-based, ethical
- Building a culture that survives both digital opportunities and disruption
- Strategic portfolio management: governance, kill / scale / pivot decisions
- Strategic outcomes measurement, OKR-equivalent practices in service contexts
Day 5 — Integration, Mock Exams, SL Pathway
- DPI ↔ DITS integration: direction → plan → improve, end-to-end
- Cross-module case study under timed conditions
- Timed DPI mock + timed DITS mock (multiple-choice + case-study format)
- Item-by-item debrief, rationale walk-through
- 60-day SL pathway plan, PeopleCert exam-application walk-through
