Day 2 - Model and Validate

  • Current-state and future-state process maps, SIPOC, swimlanes, handoffs, bottlenecks, exceptions, and business rules
  • Modeling level of detail, stakeholder review, process pain points, improvement opportunities, and future-state options
  • Data needs, decision tables, business rules, interface points, user journeys, personas, and service touchpoints
  • Using models to find missing requirements, conflicting assumptions, edge cases, and implementation risks
  • Requirements walkthroughs, peer review, acceptance criteria, examples, testability, signoff, and change control
